Everyday - located at the south west side of parking lot
Bring bagged aluminum cans to be recycled. Monies from these cans are used to provide additional funds for LFBC operational, ministry & special projects as needed.

The Prayer Room is open during regular church hours. Mike Blackburn has prayer times on Tuesday & Thursday at 1:30 pm & on Wednesday at 5:00 pm in the Prayer Room. Please feel free to use the Prayer Room any time during regular church & office hours.

Rains County Good Samaritans
Helping those in need.
An organization sponsored by the churches of Rains County to distribute food and clothing to those in need.
The purpose of the Rains County Good Samaritans is to respond to the immediate physical and spiritual need of people who reside in our county and transients passing through. We accomplish this by providing food, clothing, temporary shelter and directing people in need to existing resources and programs to help them meet their long term needs. We strive to open the channel of communication between various groups in our community and to be a channel for all charitable organizations to serve our fellow man.
Hours for food and clothing distribution:
Monday & Thursday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Second Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 noon
Thrift shop is open every Saturday (except the 5th) and most weekday mornings.
This organization is operated by volunteers and volunteers are always needed. If you would like to help out, please call 903-473-3179. Listed below are some of the duties of volunteers.
Volunteers are needed to:
1st & 3rd Thursdays 9:30 am - 3:30 pm, Family Life Center Sewing Room
Our ministry's purpose is to serve others by sewing bibs, lap robes, walker caddies & bed bags for area nursing homes and assisted living centers with many blankets created for the local child advocacy center. We need volunteers for sewing, cutting, pressing &/or turning bibs. Donations are accepted.
S.I.S. - Sista's in Sync

Our purpose is to show our love for others by providing building & repairs to persons & other churches in our community & surrounding area. Our group is composed of skilled & retired builders to men who have never built in their lives, but have a desire to serve.
